Uneven Growth: Tactical Urbanisms for Expanding Megacities
Urban expansion is associated with unequal growth, one of the worst threats facing our society. To help address this problem, MoMA sparked international debate with its exhibition Uneven Growth: Tactical Urbanisms for Expanding Megacities. The exhibition showcases emerging tactical urban planning strategies from around the world, offering ideas on how to mitigate the inequality and preserve habitability in an ever-expanding world.
Now MoMA wants you to join in the conversation. We can all make a contribution – big or small – by sending examples of tactical urban planning -bottom-up interventions that make cities more habitable and participative” to the online exhibition forum.
All submissions will be considered for inclusion into the exhibition’s presentation at the 2015 Venice Biennale: Ideas for Change.
