Medellin – Strategies for a new city
After Naya Raipur, Juan is about to leave for Medellin, Colombia, where he will pilot the workshop organized by Les Ateliers – International workshops of planning and urban design, a non – profit French organization that
aims to develop the collective creation of ideas that tackle the challenges and processes of everyday city planning and design. by promoting a process of collective and multidisciplinary work that produces innovative and illustrative proposals relating to urban design and spatial development
Medellin, a city that hits the news recently for its astounding shift from the home of the (in)famous cartel to a model city, and home to the 2014 UN Habitat’s Urban Forum, is inviting international experts in urban design to transform and regenerate the city center and the banks of the Rìo Medellin.
With our experience on the river banks of Bilbao, we’re super excited about this new challenge and we’ll look forward for Juan’s reportage on this new design trip.
We’ll keep you posted!
